Just heard wigan are clsing their turnstiles at 7.55 until after the minutes silence to honour the loss of Leon Walker on friday night.

More importantly, the stewards should be blocking all entrances to the seats from the concourse between 7:55 and 8:00pm.

Any disruption to the minutes silence will not be from late arrivals, it will be from people racing to their seats at the last minute with a pie and a pint.

Why do we need to do anything differently? Every minute's silence I've seen at the JJB (and there are too many IMO, but that is a different argument) has been impeccably respected. Mind you, I do occupy the classier West Stand! :wink:

I have never been at an RL ground anywhere where the minutes silence hasn't been respected. It's another proud tradition of TGG.
