Leneghan getting the munk on with Deardon etc having a pop at Wigan youth system..................

When Maurice sold me to Leeds something changed, it just not the same, the passion inside me just wasn’t the same as running out at Central park for my hometown club.
We need a change of culture here; we don’t want to be just happy with playing ok on Saturday at St Helens.
Ill make sure that from now on things will change, that players will be under pressure and will train a lot harder than they have before.

He's just put Jack and Trevor right regarding youth development at Wigan.

Trouble is with Deardon and Co they live in the past regarding Wigan..............

"Wigan fans need to realise that they don't have a devine right to win every game" is a favourite of theirs

So out of 376 SL players 44 are Wiganers, nice to know we are supplementing some of the underlings!!

What gives the poor perception about our youth system is we've produced/kept loads of forwards. (hock, o'loughlin, hansen, joel tomkins, prescott, o'carroll, mcilorum). Whilst in the backs we've got ? (well ainscough and Sam T if you want to say they've made it). We have produced backs but they've all, rightly or wrongly been released or moved to Union.

They've never liked us. Trevor is a thinly veiled Leyther, with all the baggage that entails, and, in talent terms, an ex free newspaper columnist who got lucky - with all the amateurishness that entails. Dearden is a Manc, who bends with whichever wind happens to be blowing. He appeared to lead the anti-Wigan charge in the Offiah era, when the 'popular' view was that Wigan being so powerful was ruining the game, without any apparent perception that it was down to the other clubs to catch up rather than down to Wigan to implode (the cost of which we've been paying every since).

These days their show is characterised by phone-calls from anti-Wigan morons, who churn out the same blinkered, outdated, prejudiced bullsh** from donkey's years ago, which Jack and Trevor either agree with or think is really funny.

I'd say ignore them, but somehow they've become the voice of RL on local BBC radio. Oh for the days of Malcolm Lord.

To be fair I do like Phil Kinsella. He appears far more knowlegable and neutral.

It was funny IL mentioning this message board indirectly with regard to the fans on here wanting to sign LMS from the Quins.
