latics are playin at the jjb the pitch looks fantastic, the comantator just said, if wigan want to go forther in this league they are going to have to seperate from the rugby league. im sorry does that not mean hull fc have to leave the kc,
everyone knows the jjb was built on crap land, during the summer the pitch is brilliant, there are 2 teams playing on it now until may and it will look in brilliant condition up until late october november, every idiot knows grass does not grow in the winter,
The Latics reporter on BBC Manchester mentioned similar about a bare patch bottom left corner I think it is. The call commentator though is Rugby regular Phil Kinsella who said "what they've only played 3 games, they can't have done that much damage?" or words to that effect.
Not wrong with that pitch at all from what I can see on Sky.
Makes me laugh because they actually cut the grass shorter for football than they do for rugby. All their fancy boots just churn up what little grass they already have.
CHERRY AND WHITE IT'S IN OUR BLOOD ANCIENT & LOYAL UNTIL WE DIE
i know in summer the grass is alot longer, makes me laugh when before a rugby game they mark of with tape the 18 yard box, im sorry but when did wigan rl have scrums under the sticks 2 churn the field up lol

Possibly something to do with them ripping up that shiite synthetic pitch and relaying a proper one last year?

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions
The pitch looks in good nick at the moment in comparison to years gone by and moving the rugby club out of the stadium would do nothing to improve it in future years.
Whelan would never do it anyway because he's too tight.
I was absolutely raging on Thursday when I heard Chris Kirkland on the radio saying that Latics enjoy the deterioration in the pitch when the rugby starts because it stops opposing teams from ' playing football '.
We will never shake it off.
