I couldnt but help notice posters advertising this match on 9 April when i was in the pubs in Ashton in makerfield last night saying miss it miss out saying 4 sell outs in 4 years and a figure like over 80000 cant be wrong cant remember the proper figure there trying to sell this out very good luck and hope we sell it out.
Don't think it will sell out on a Thursday Night. Might have done on Good Friday had Sky given us 1pm like Hull v Hull KR have. Should be around 22,000 though I'd expect.

Well some say that. Some say its because we travel to France on the Monday so the extra day suits us (Catalans also played v Quins on the Thursday Night).
I can't wait for the game tbh. I know Saints looked good the other night but i reckon we can give them a good game if we play to our best. The 2 new youngsters should really be up for their first derby game and that excitment will hopefully rub off on the others.
As for the crowd i'd be suprised if it's any less then 21-22k. It won't sell out as even some good friday games have taken until around kick off to sell out and i just can't see there being that big a walk up on the night.

I'm already excited about this, and also I'm stupidly optimistic as well, we're going to hammer Saints. (Well ok at least keep to close!)

A purple patch inspired on his home ground by man of the match WIGAN CAPTAIN Sean O’Loughlin produced three tries in an eight-minute spell just before half-time, and the GB Lions added two more after the break to maintain Smith’s 100 per cent record as Great Britain coach.
