I think Noble has had his hand forced this year. And it has really payed dividends. Tomkins and Ainscough are showing the way for the so called 'experienced players'. I have no doubt that with these players and the players coming through...sprinkled with a light touch of seasoned pros Wigan will become competitive once again.

BTW My mouth is watering at the prospect of Tomkins vs Eastmond at some point down the road. That should be one of the greatest half-back rivalries of recent years.

Just hope he can carry on bringing one or two more through this year. i think sam n ainscough will sit the barrow game out as we have a got two huge games over the easter period and at thier age you dont want to burn them out.

Defiantly agree with you on this one. We are sooooo close to having a really good squad which includes a lot of good young talent 2! I really think it’s a case getting another quality centre to increase our attacking threat on the opposite side to Carmont, a good tough as old boots experienced prop and maybe a SH general and we are there again.

Good to see there are still plenty of good youngsters like Thornley, Mossop, Farrell & Vievers who can still come through!

Best part tho is knowing people like Mick Hogan realise that in order to be successful and manage the cap to it’s full potential we need to produce the majority of our squad ourselves. With people like him running the show we will get back to where we belong imo.
