Played very well. Saved a try with a great tackle, took his try well and that run he did was tremendous at the end of the first half. Had we scored from that we would have had half a chance in the 2nd half.
He made a mistake for the Donald try but i can live with that as he can learn from it.
What a tackle for a small guy when the rolled the Leeds guy into touch and then his barnstorming run was excellent. He more than made up for the mistake
Just one question tho as i haven't seen much of him apart from this season but how fast is he? Once last week and once last night he had some open field in front of him and his pace didn't seem to that quick that I thought he’d go the length of the field?
Still an excellent talent tho!

I dont think he is a speedster. He is more pace of the mark and strength.
An excellent winger. Someone we have to keep hold of at all costs. An excellent talent. A lad who is Wigan through and through. Just the type of player we need. 16 More like him [Talented Wiganers] and we're set
Don't let your love turn to hate Now we've got to keep the faith
Looks a real prospect. Whats pleasing to see is actually LOOKS like he's physically up to SL, where as other wingers at other clubs that have come through in recent years have the speed but are too light-weight to play in SL week in week out. There are some excellent young backs coming through this season at a number of clubs.
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
good game apart from the mistake which let donald in
"They'd butt each other like a pair of billy goats and would both look like a mess at the end of the game. I'd often see Billy an hour later sharing a beer with his rival, with both blokes sporting half a dozen stitches in their scones. They were a breed apart, fornt-rowers - blokes like Bluey were proof of that." Johnny Raper on Billy Wilson and other front rowers of the time
