IMO Leeds looked 2 yards quicker all round the pitch: out wide, driving it up, in defence. Leeds looked amazing in the first half but we kept with them in the 2nd, some video ref decisons against us, many knock ons didnt help. I think they'll stuff saints next week, if they play like they did tonight- whcih they usually don't.

I'm not sure about that. Leeds were great for the first 25 mins or so, but from 22-0 up the rest of the game pans out at 12-10 to Leeds and that includes 2 disallowed tries from Wigan and a dubious benefit of the doubt try from Peacock. Add to that the number of errors both sides made, do you think Saints will:

A) capitalise on the Leeds mistakes if they 'play like they did last night'

B) Make the same number of errors as Wigan did last night, particularly in good positions

Let's be honest here. In the same way as our performance last week has to be judged against the poor Bradford performance, so Leeds last night need to be jusdged against a poor Wigan performance, particularly with regards to the number of crucial errors.

Eddie was waxing lyrical about the 'masterclass' performance! It was far from that and a better side than we were last night would have beat them. Their much vaunted defence was breeched 4 times by a side who hardly had any possession or field position and we blew, or didn't capitalise on several other opportunities that a more clinical side would have made more of.

Leeds were good last night and we were beaten by the better side, but some of the stuff being said is way off the mark!

Luckily for them, I'm not sure Saints are up to speed yet either so it could well be interesting next week!

I'm not sure if Ainscough was off-side. Benefit of the doubt?
