Even after a fantastic win such as that tonight, the Nobby Knockers will no doubt find a criticism somewhere.

Instead of starting these negative threads why can't we for a change actually just have a nice positive one and praise the team performance?

Well I'm still no fan of Nobby, that performance was one borne of a solid halfback pairing with good support all round.

One game doesn't make a coach's career.

Credit to the team - great performance.

Conroy - Being a Latics fan i'm already immune to watching sh*te.

Sally Cinnamon - Treat the Saints forum as you would if you met a girl from St Helens. Best policy would be to avoid altogether but if you absolutely can't resist temptation then take every possible precaution.

The thread is positive! Its positive about Brian Noble as a coach. He has rammed Jonh/DaveO's and the bandwagon jumpers words down their throats. I think after the constant stick everyone has given Noble-Jonh in particular, its only right Noble is acknowledged for his huge part in tonights superb performance.

Noble doesnt need to prove his career. He already has at Bradford by winning the lot. Tonight he blew the theory that 'he can only coach boring rugby' out of the water. At the same time he blew the theory that 'he will not give youth a chance' out of the water.

Go on admit it you were wrong,it wont hurt!

They did play like wasters for the first few games. I pointed out time and time again there is no way Brian Noble can be blamed for simple errors and the inability to complete a simple tackle yet the majority were praying Noble would be sacked as though it was his fault.

Back to my original point though. Jonh has rambled on for years with huge posts claiming he could do a better job than Noble when tonight has proven that Noble can coach the game which ever way you like it and he is not one dimensional at all.

RJH are you really that sad that you have to take a great performance like tonight and use it to have a pop at posters who do not agree with you.

I have to credit Noble tonight and am happy to do so the team played to the levels it should tonight and the tactics are starting to change. I hope this continues. Lets not forget 1 swallow does not make a Spring we have seen this before yet not kicked on, this is the key.

Tonight was a very anti Noble style peformance and hopefully it is a sign he is evolving as a coach, he had to change his style and mentality and he has, his failure to do this is my biggest gripe with him, lets hope we get more performances like that so you can post petty threads like this.

As a aditional point it is interesting that the tactics myself and Dave and other "bandwagon" jumpers have called for, for the last 2 years tonight brought success in such emphatic style to the performance and victory, maybe Brian has been on here taking note

Unofficially the most boring poster on Cherry and White.
