JJB store in Newtown.

Post subject:  JJB store in Newtown.
I pass this shop on my way home from work everyday but never call in unless looking for trainers. I called in yesterday looking for a cheap T-shirt and I couldn`t believe that not one item of Wigan RL clothing was for sale in fact there was not even any Rugby League shirts anywhere. They did have Sale and Four nations Ra Ra paraphernalia on sale as well as this seasons Latics shirts with name and number for £15. Think this is a case of cutting off ones nose to spite ones face. No wonder they are in trouble!

Maybe because we are no longer sponsered by JJB anymore and they no longer make any clothing for us.

I have not seen our club merchandise on sale anywhere but the club shop and mobile units. I think it was said somewhere that our kit would only be available from the club but not sure where i heard or read it.

Same at the one in the Trafford Centre on Wednesday, not a sign of any league stuff at all!

Always used to buy my shirts and other stuff from the one on Middlebrook (Horwich). Will have to see if they still stock the good stuff!

Has everyone been living under a rock? It's been announced that JJB won't be stocking Wigan RL gear.

Kooga sell the stuff to Wigan but they can also sell it to whoever they want. If JJB wanted it and they could agree a price with Kooga then they'd sell it. Wigan have no control over who sells their shirts. I enquired about doing it through my site but it's not something I'm bothering with this year. A little late in the day to start selling shirts.

united aren't sponsored by jjb or jd sports, but they still stock their shirts.
