Just looking for thoughts & feedback on the way we have got are games underway. Right just been watching Granada reports and it seems they to are writing Wigan off by comparing the team now from when as they put it top of the game. Brian noble seems to be getting a lot of bad press, but is it Brian just what have the other managers completed whilst at there time with Wigan (after the last silver of corse) The point I am making what I wonder would the reaction be if present owner was to look at it as no matter what went out on the field we would still be in super league as we all now no team is at threat from going down , so we keep brian but start looking at the team Now this could come as a pay for play I.e. just what you are bringing to the club or better still sacking for not playing as you should and lets face it there are one or two who are having a easy ride at the clubs expense. |

I think we all know there are some players in that team that aren't "Wigan quality", but with the squad we have we should be a good side. So far the performances haven't warranted that title, it would be more appropiate to title Wigan as an 'average' SL side. I think fan's are getting a little annoyed and aggravated at the same old excuses being banded around, "Things haven't come off for us" or "we're really trying" which by all means may be true, but excuses such as those are IMO un-acceptable. There is a fine line between 'trying' and 'dedication', the players seem to be doing the former, and need to be the latter. I've no doubt whatsoever we need a new prop and IMO a 6 that is decent in defense, TS was woeful against Cas in defence, although in attack he may of been good (I don't know how he was in attack as Boots N All only showed his defensive weaknesses and I weren't at the game). I support Noble but the way we are playing and the seemingly 'favourites' he has within the team just aren't earning thier wage, bar Lockers and a few others. Sam Tomkins will be a superb player for us but he cannot and will not work miracles, he needs players running lines for him, backing him up without that he might just looks average at best. I'm not knocking the lad before anyone starts, as I feel he is a very promising talent but without the correct support play he is very limited to what he can do. Hopefully get a win at Quins and really kick on from there, if we lose changes NEED to be made. |

The pack at Wigan seems to lack aggression and fight, and, I can't be sure, but maybe size. Look at the wire pack Morley, Rh'hu, Carvell, Anderson Bros, Clarke, Micky, Wood knock the 'poop' out of other packs! |

Morley, Rh'hu, Carvell, Anderson Bros, Clarke, Micky, Wood knock the 'poop' out of other packs! If they can get them all on the field at the same time. |

who else is at fault he buy's, trains and picks the team its obvious he cant install a winning mentality into a team because even with our squad as it is now we should still be able to put 30 on a second string wakey team which we couldn't. he has had his time at wigan and should go now befor we end up futher behind the pack its no good saying its won in october not feb points on the board count now and the futher behind you fall the harder it is to catch up. |
