...we managed to scrape wins in the last 3 games (only being 6, 8 and 6 points away), would everyone still be calling for Noble to be sacked?

If the team starts playing flowing, entertaining rugby and loses by being beaten by a better team I'd be happy.

However, we play dour, grinding rugby with little imagination and we're not even grinding out wins. Personally I believe BN's done as much as he can at Wigan and his time is fast running out.

The main point I was getting at was that that this time last year, apart from some individual displays from Barrett, we were playing the same dull one up Rugby yet no one questioned Noble's tactics. Now that we don't have a quality leader to stand up and produce off the cuff Rugby it becomes a problem. The players seem lost of both a leader and a game plan when we manage to get over the half way line. I'm sick of watching us turn the ball back inside for Palea'aesina, Fielden and co to attempt to barge over or failing that kick to the corner, but that's nothing new to this year.

Actually, some have. In fact, at the end of last season my Mrs, a former season ticket holder at CP, said she's no inclination to go watch Wigan while they play this type of rugby as they bore her.

There are those, me included, who've been unhappy with the lack of style but have kept their heads down because those that profess to know better often shot them down. Then there's the likes of Jonh on here who's openly questioned Noble's lack of tactics pretty much all last season.

We have become a very predictable side, it is easier for opposing teams to figure out what we'll do and how to stop it. It's only when the players go away from the gameplan and throw the ball around that the opposition are caught off guard and we score at will, but when we get a couple of points ahead, we return to the boring predictable style, and the opposition can catch up again.
