i know this is said alot, and will probably be brought up again in the near future. but after watching warringtons opening super league games, i sit there crying out to the tele "why the hell did wigan let higham go?".
its probably one of the most over-used questions associated to wigan rugby recently.
Even Eddie and stevo, as much rubbish as they may talk sometimes; even they highlight the sheer magnitude of wigans mistake in selling mickey.
For me he is still world class; and the best hooker in the league, along with James Roby. How wigan need him now. Riddel is leagues below mickeys standard; just doesnt make scence to me.

Yeah hes world class - he's that world class that he has guided warrington to two fantastic wins at the start of their campaign running the show and proving to wigan we shouldnt have let him go.



Im sick of hearing this, Higham is nothing but average at best - he was the reason Warrington lost at Catalan, he gave away 3 penaltys each of which they scored a try after, knocked on countless times, just like he did for us.

His running from dummy half is the only thing he does decent when he sometimes catches defence out, but as a hooker you need alot more to your game from that and he just aint got it - the distribution, support play, ability to catch a ball and to control the team.

Have you forgotten Kieron Cunningham? And Matt Diskin? And Danny Buderus? The list goes on..

And Higham, world class? How can a hooker be world class when his distribution is poor? That's the whole point of a hooker, not one decent run from dummy half every 10 minutes.

Is the 17 in your name the total number of minutes you saw Mick play for Wigan during his 3 years with the club?
