Money talks. Football is a much richer game than ours unfortunately so top tier football will always get priority.

Money will get priority always. Premier League is richer than Super League.

Its only a matter of time with Latics though. They took 500 fans to United the other week and that says it all. The biggest football club in the world 20 miles away and only 500 could be bothered travelling!

At least we arent the only ones anymore. And its the same story, before they got in the PL they wouldnt have half the fans they have now, whereas the FC fans that have been around for year get the short end of the stick and will slowly become tennants at the KC like we have at the JJB

I know what your saying but tickets were really expensive and afew days later they were playing Man city away and tickets were much cheaper and they pretty much sold the allocation, and wasnt the Man U game midweek.

Latics will get relegated in afew years anyway and our problems will be solved. They will spend afew million on players and will not be able to recover when they go down and we may not see them again, much like if Blackburn went down this year.

You could argue that it is a poor attendance, it's a valid and reasoned point. However, with the credit crunch and people having less money to spend, Man Utd's ticket costs may of had a part to play.

Still, it doesn't excuse the poor home attendances, for a Premier League club, Latics should be selling the JJB out every week.

I doubt the JJB will get a test either so the RFL looking a bit short on venues.

Doncaster, Huddersfield and one for when the French visit?
