1985 since wigan lost 3 on the run at the start of a season, then looked what happened next-- Challenge cup winners 1987/88, 1988/89, 1989/90, 1990/91, 1991/92, 1992/93, 1993/94, 1994/95 Championship winners 1986/87, 1989/90, 1990/91, 1991/92, 1992/93, 1993/94, 1994/95, 1995/96. World club championship winners 1987, 1991, 1994 Regal trophy winners 1985/86, 1986/87, 1988/89, 1989/90, 1992/93, 1994/95, 1995/96 Premership winners 1986/7, 1991/2, 1993/4, 1994/5, 1996, 1997 So could it be good signs ahead? |

In that squad we had: Ian Potter Steve Hampson Ellery Hanley Nicky Kiss Andy Goodway Shaun Edwards Graeme West Mike Ford Henderson Gill Shaun Wane Brian Case Ian Lucas Joe Lydon We have no-one close to that standard in our current squad. |
