I think there is a different ethos in Lancashire, it's hard work commuting as I think Noble still does. You just don't get the vibe of the town.
I think I can say this without too much of a partisan view, I have worked in Yorks for nearly 20 years although have managed to avoid living there so far. They just don't think the same.
well small towns are different from large cities
i,e in small town rl tradionally all the fans lived on top of the ground everywhere walking, distance players knowing the local people.
the yorkshire coaches you have had only goodway comes from a closeknit community like wigan
