Didn't give much away in that but wasn't overly supportive of Noble. |

He sounds like a 1970s throwback. Wigan lad talking in his telephone voice. |

I wonder what his reaction was to Nobby sending the obviously injured Hock back into battle only to see the poor lad nearly get crippled at his first attempt to tackle someone. Whatever industry you work in, you'd give someone making such a decision a severe dressing down at the earliest opportunity. Noble is becoming a bigger moron game by game. |

That was his worst decision of the night, i have never seen hock stay down. It was clear he wasnt well, to send him back on was - A) waste of a substitution B) Dangerous considering he was clearly hurt, thankfully he didnt do himslef any damage and should be able to pull the shirt on next week |

If I was Noble I might just be a little worried after listening to that. |

He said what he could say. He's hardly going to come out saying I'm thinking of sacking Brian Noble but he kept saying we have a very good squad quite a few times which suggests he's not blaming the players. Noble will be in a job for this week but lose to Harlequins and I think he's gone. |

Although bitterly disappointed, it took IL only 23 seconds to mention our only positive tonight..that being Sean Ainscough's performance. However had Phelps not been injured, I fully expect that he would have had Ainscough's place in the team and we would have had NO positives tonight, possibly suffered an even heavier defeat....lets face it, Phelps wouldn't have scored that try last night!!!! Had our head coach gambled on Sam Tomkins yesterday, maybe IL could have commented on another magnificent debut and perhaps even a Wigan victory. Sadly, we'll never know. And for this he (Noble) gets my vote of NO confidence. |
