I was in the south stand bar last night before the game and a mate of mine came up with a great point!

Each week they tell us how great its gone in training blah blah blah.

But you can be a great trainer, fit as a butchers dog, strong as an Ox but if you cant play rugby, your screwed!

Its a simple point but one i feel sums up the majority of our squad and games!

I think most of them are too nervous/not confident enough to try things that they've done in training and tranfer it into a match situation. :(

Why then if 'some just can't play rugby' why are they picked week after week, in front of others who obviously can?

IMO I don't think its them not being confident enough to try things, more a case of being restricted by the tactics. In the second half last night when we were a few scores down we seemed to abandon Noble's 5 drives & kick tactics and looked more than capable of scoring.

Training always goes "well" - even when it doesn't.

Words and meaning have parted company entirely.
