Overseas players, they come and go. Who would you say are the absolute future (The Backbone) for the club for years to come? Joel Tomkins Sam Tomkins Sean Ainscough Gaz Hock Ian Thornley Anyone else we have in our current squad who deserves such accolades? Anyone else coming through the ranks who have that 'specialness' about them? Successful Wigan teams historically have always had a good blend of top quality local lads spread throughout the team. |

Obviously won't be the 'backbone' in 5 years, but I expect Logan Tomkins to be breaking in by the end of that 5 years. |

Indeed, just checked on him. Mossop / Farrell / Vievers all names i've been told to keep my eye on, but anyone else have a view? It's imperative that 2 youth players make it into the squad each season, to allow us to eek out these imports! 3/4 Top Quality Imports plus a dozen Top Quality local lads = potential success. |

I went to school with him. He is a cracking player and play hooker and can play scrum half too. |
