According to Paul Cullen on Boots n All. He sighted Amos Roberts for not telling Fielden where to re-position himself in the line for the first try. Then for allowing the ball to bounce for the second try. Your thoughts? I wasn't at the game but it doesn't sound very convincing from Roberts at fullback. Pat for fullback (if he's fit) against Castleford? |

There's a reason Cullen is a Sky pundit and not a coach. |

I wouldnt hesitate to play Richards at full back against Castleford and to keep him there for the rest of the season. |

Apart from that one mistake, Roberts played well at fullback. He was well positioned through out the game and barely seemed phased by any attacking kicks, he looked very relaxed which is also the reason why they scored. If a good attacking made it over the tryline he grounded the ball well and didn't seem jittery in any shape or form. In attack he made one break and 30 yards run after collecting the ball on the full and would have raced in had the Hull defender not hung onto his coat tails...And he was regulary in support through the game. It's Paul Cullen. |

Roberts has been responsible for two of the five tries we've let in so far this season. It's a good job he isn't Richie Mathers otherwise the board would have melted under the bilge. |

Roberts looks short on match fitness but that will come. He made one big error on Friday night and hopefully he'll learn from that but he also came up with some very good bits of play. He swept up a couple of dangerous kicks in the first half against Hull and made a few good runs. As ever alot of people made judgments on new players far too early. He needs chance to settle in as does Riddell. |

Pat should have been full back on Friday. |
