4 years ago the Welsh were the whooping boys of the Six Nations.... they got Edwards and now look at them...

i would not want to be a Welsh player in the dressing room after the game. Edwards looked very angry as they played below what they can. Though a win is a win Wales can be much better.

italy are a way off the other 5 despite what the bbc, rfu and other pro-union voices will tell you.
scotland and to a lesser extent, england have gone backwards. for me it will be between ireland and wales this year.
fingers crossed for the irish

I know Edwards is primarily a defence coach with Wales, but you can tell in their attack that there are a few RL influences in there, as you can with Wasps.

edwards and union folk have openly admitted this.

my heart says i'd love to have edwards in charge of us but my head keeps screaming 'he's got no rugby league coaching experience!'
cut his teeth at another club first? would he do it? he obviously still has a passion for rugby league and in particular wigan, but i think it would be the wigan job and only the wigan job that would tempt him back.

I think if it ever did happen he would come back as Assistant to somebody first then eventually step up. Although it is different in Union he has made it public on more than a few occasions he is not interested in the top job he just wants to be in the coaching team.

I'm not convinced. He's got to earn a living and 'Wigan through and through' or not, if Union will pay him more, he'll stay where he is. It's only what anyone else would do.

im sure that being in union he easily 'earns a living'.
i would be surprised if he really need that extra 50k a year or whatever it is.
if we have a dodgy year and noble is replaced then it would be the perfect time to bring in edwards or dare i say it farrell as an assistant as -neil- said.
