If phelps is out on Friday the surley pryce should play.

All the talk is to bring Pyce back slowly however if it is true as we are lead to believe that he was fit for the last 8 weeks of last season then after an extended pre season he should play.

If he isnt up to the standard then he should be put in to the reserves or even released.

What are peolpes thoughts?

IMO he shouldnt play til the reserve team season starts and he play and proves that he has the match fitness for the first team.

Just out of interest when does the reserve season start? :)

What makes his match fitness any different from that of any other player who has just done a pre season. He is either up to super lague standard or he isnt.

I undertsand about the injury etc but he has been over the injury for some time and has taken part in 3 pre season games and a full off season training.

He is either up to the job or he isnt.

up untill about a month and a half ago he hadnt played a game of rugby for 2 years and you expect him to be thrown into super league just like that without building up his match fitness in friendlys and reserves?

nobby plays ainscough he gets over with the fans again, because he is playing a wigan lad who has pace to burn and will be a shock to the super league, when the aussies praise a pommy we know we have a special player on our hands.
