Mathers, Phelps, Riddell, Bailey all may be out so I would go for ..

1. Richards
2. Ainscough
3. Goulding
4. Carmont
5. Roberts
6. S Tomkins
7. Smith
8. Fielden
9. Leuluai
10. O'Carroll
11. Hansen
12. O'Loughlin
13. J Tomkins

14. Feka
15. Prescott
16. Hock
17. McIlorum

However I know this very unlikely to be the side as Coley will probably return in place of Prescott, Sam will be on the bench if at all and Lockers will more than likely play at Loose

Thoughts?

We need to give Riddell time to get fit. O'Loughlin @ 6 isn't perfect but we need to start this game well and Tommy is outstanding at 9.

I expect Bailey to be fit, it Phelps isn't then Ainscough comes in.

If Riddell is out then either Tommy has to play 80 minutes at 9 or Tomkins will come in I assume.

Just go for it with the youngsters, thats 10 of the 17 from our academy, and its still a strong team, imo its stronger than what we played yesterday - gets rid of the deadwood like bailey and phelps.

To call them deadwood is simpily going over the top because they have aussie accents.

Phelps is better than Goudling, swap the accents around and nobody would care that Phelps was picked ahead of him.

If people didnt think they knew what Bailey earned he wouldnt be a target either.

I agree with that but i also think he should be our 5th choice back rower behind Hock,Lockers, Tomkins and Hansen.

Phelps is not better than goulding.

What does Bailey offer that Hansen, Hock, O'Loughlin, Tomkins, Mossop, Farrell, or Flanagan dont?

I'd also add Coley to the deadwood list and he doesnt have an Australian accent.

what gets me is that noble knew riddell and bailey weren't match fit, yet he still played them!

Richards, Roberts, Goulding, Carmont, Ainscough, Smith, Leuluai, Fielden, McIlorum, Coley, O'Loughlin, Hock, J Tomkins.
Feka, Prescott, O'Carroll & S Tomkins.

That's assuming that Bailey nor Riddell are not fit next week and Smith is. I wouldn't pick Phelps even if he was and Coley must realise that Castleford for him is a chance to put a bad match behind him and come up with a good performace. Lockers is more suited to the 2nd row and Joel could do with a start at 13.

Yes he is, he is quicker, can pass better and finish a move. As for defence, both are poor

To compare Mossop, Farrell or Flanagan is silly.

He offers exactly the same as Hansen. Hock & Locky are different kinds of players.
