When he was at Huddersfield Chris Thormans short kicking game caused Wigan all sorts of problems. They scored so many tries from it.

If Wigans defense doesn't align itself properly to cover those kicks there could be serious trouble.

Beware.

Not negative, merely an observation.

Not having Mathers at the back has got to be a start.

Alternatively TL's short kicking game causes everyone problems.

Something we don't take advantage of enough, especially given that Joel Tomkins seems to have inherited Fletcher's ability to be on the back of goal line grubbers.

Good point, i remember Lam & Radlinksi having a similar move and we scored a bag load from it.

Thorman can either be brilliant or he can be a passenger.

Come off it with the eye-rolling.

Several times I've expressed concern about Mathers' personal wellbeing. At present, for whatever reason, he's not up to SL standard. It's doing no good, either to him or us, playing him in the first team at present. He needs time in the reserves to rebuild his confidence.

My biggest fear is we hammer them playing some wonderfull rugby, as it will then give Noble an excuse for us to have a 10 game spell of garbage again.

Ball retention is my biggest fear, all too often it is nothing short of disgusting.

Defence outwide is also another major worry. Hull have some pace and power in the centre and that could kill us down the right hand side if we do not improve considerably from last week.

Finally selection is my fear, if Coley is selected i will dispare, not happy about Bailey being selected either but Coley has to be dropped.

If one of these is not dropped i think we can see what our Coach is all about.

Biggest fear is that Hull score first, our heads go down and we never recover...

Wigan are specials to win at Hull, they'll bounce back.
