Well, it is Wigan Athletics stadium. The only person who doesn't realise this is Ian Lenegan. |

It's a bit of a p take though - why would you do that? It has no commercial benefits - in fact he must be losing money from the sponsors it's replaced. |

I can probably shed a bit of light on the sponsor thing, The sponsors all around the ground are changed every match, the only ones that remain for both football and rugby are the ones below the scoreboard. So in effect if the rugby had enough sponsors then this area shown would probably be used. I don't go to latics to know whether the area is used for sponsors during matches. I found this out yesterday as I believe we have paid £5k for a northstand field facing advert that has never shown up. The one that we had before has been removed at the start of the rugby season. I am still in the process of trawling through last years invoices to see whether we have paid for it. |

They've been there all season for Latics. Can't remember if there were ever ad boards there tbh, but I like it anyway. EDIT - at a Latics pre-season game the other year there were ad boards that said 'Welcome to the JJB Stadium - Home of Wigan Warriors' |

Alot of empty advertising boards all around the ground. Down the west stand side of the pitch there was only 2 adverts the rest the full length of the pitch was empty. I know the cameras are in the west so the east stand is prime boards but they used to be full. |
