So the latics will get their own store inside the stadium and we will have tents outside. One more reason to hate DW.

Let them, we should have a brand new one in the town centre AND portable tents/vans around the ground.

The stadium is Wigan Athletics', we're mere tennants. Unfortunately, Ian Lenegan is happy with this and is the only thing I can disagree with him.

Don't think there has ever been another time when the town has been so divided.

This is one reason why the football will struggle to increase attendances.
Only 21K against Liverpool the other night (with over 5,000 Liverpool fans)....tut tut.

it says theyve APPLIED for planning permission.......it doesnt say they have it.

iirc when the JJB was originally built planning permission for a shop was refused.
but that was when whelan owned JJB.

so i reckon if enough folk object to it on the grounds of bias, we might find enough councillors with the guts to turn it down unless its a joint venture with warriors.

everyone get writing to the planning dept.

The WEP talks about other planned Wigan Athletic developments at the JJB

Just read that in the WEP, i think you will find its more of us missing the boat.

I would rather stick with Mick Hogans view to get a store in the centre of town, commercially would be much better.

Will they be filling the shop with Liverpool and United tops to satisfy 80% of the Wigan football supporting public.

Yes I agree a town centre store will be commercially better, depending on the rent. But we are making do with sellers inside the south stand why cant the stadium store be dual use?
