Is there any official hint that you are going to make any signings for next year? Mick Potter has said he wants onw more signing for next year, hopefully its a prop!
people have to accept that the rules changed, and we, The Club, did not handle things well... I have been on a project at work and a simple one at that, still a 2 year job. The mess wian were it was always going to take a long time to sort... But the cream always rises.

Will not appease some of the knee jerk jerks on here, but its a sound policy... for all the current critisism we could well finish 5th and teams will not want to be playing us you can be sure... I can't seee us getting to the GF, but who knows...... Its not all "Black black black"
The requirement for a prop existed when IL arrived and is not a new one. In the meantime we have signed or re-signed numerous players in just about every position but prop and money has been available as players contracts have expired.
There is no knee jerk reaction is being frustrated this issue has not been addressed by now.
Even if this gets sorted out today it will have been one of the slowest fixes ever.

I agree with this in principle - that we need a new prop ASAP, but during all that time we've had five first-team props on our books.
The need has certainly become more pressing in recent times as it's become apparent that Fielden is not going to rediscover his lost form and Feka is not going to lose any more weight. But there were other areas that needed fixing when IL took over, so it's applying hindsight to look back on his arrival and say that our no. 1 priority was a new prop.
There's a new conference most Thursday's during the season.
That's when BBC's Manc & Mersey do interviews for their Thursday evening RL radio shows. Local print journo's are there too I believe.
We can always hope there'll be announcement re a signing but I very much doubt it.
Perhaps if Noble is to depart and a new coach arrive, the new man will bring a player or two with him. They often do. An overseas coach and overseas player may mean a quota player leaving. Any coincidence that Bailey and Carmont have not yet been re-signed?
A lot is to happen before this season's out never mind next year. The current squad and Noble deserve our full support.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but didn't Carmont and Bailey re-sign?
Not trying to argue mate but I think you've added 2 and 2 and come up with 5. Then again the wait that we having to endure to announce our coaching situation is bound to draw out these suggestions.
I just hope it gets sorted soon - it can't be good for the squad.
I strongly agree with you saying Noble and the current squad deserve our full support.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery.......
I will look to the moment, and miraculously, the future will take care of itself.
