anybody who claps the team off no matter what the performance is a brainwashed fool in my eyes
you applaud something that is worth it , the inept garbage that was served up on sunday ? never in a month of sundays
i dont like losing , but i can stomach it if i see effort , direction , leadership , commitment etc , i saw very little of any in that list on sunday pm
booing ? i would never boo one of ours during the game , blow a gasket when he makes a mistake , but to boo any of our players during the game is nothing but counter productive , just what is it doing for the players confidence ??
i must admit to feeling really depressed after sunday , ive looked for positives but im struggling tbh . the thought of that sort of performance all year makes my heart sink
its the same old problems as last year .. flat attacking back line , shallow defensive line that allows the attack to get over the advantage line every ptb .
its all basic stuff really , but the proffesionals dont seem to know the difference
maybe this partly explains the early departure for some , they saw it all last season ..........................?

Agree with all of that.
I could never boo the team during or after the game but I can not applaud what I deem a poor display. Like I said in another topic topic some players did deserve applauding for there efforts but not as a collective group.

and if an individual is making error after error , i reserve the right to call him sh!te.......which i did on sunday.
i booed em off at half time, and i shouted to mathers not to bother coming back out. but i stayed till the end and when they came over to the east , i booed em and gave a few selective hand gestures.
but i will carry on going to watch em for a few more games.....home only at present.
a couple of seasons ago i stopped going mid season , because i thought "if they cant be ar$ed making the effort, then i cant be ar$ed making the effort to go watch. its still early season, im angry, frustrated, but im still a supporter.
I thought a supporter is meant to support them, not sit there a hurl abuse at them because thet're having a 'bad day at the office'.

Pack it in ya mard. He's actually being supportive. Try reading the post in context before you start with you usual or .
Loyal Leeds Fan - The drought of recent years is a tough pill to swallow; one day we'll realise that building a team progressively with a decent coach who is capable of a little lateral thought is the way forward. Until then, it's a bad day at the office.
Conroy - Being a Latics fan i'm already immune to watching sh*te.
Sally Cinnamon - Treat the Saints forum as you would if you met a girl from St Helens. Best policy would be to avoid altogether but if you absolutely can't resist temptation then take every possible precaution.
