For me Joel can only show his potential at Loose, he isn't a workhorse second rower like Mossop and co.

I think your right about this. He runs good lines, has pace and has good ball handling skills for a big fella.
Before last season I would have said shift him to 13 and Lockers into the 2nd row. However as we all know Lockers was outstanding last year, so there will be no opportunities (bar injury) for him there.
I would like to see him have a run in the centres. For me he has all the attributes required, not to mention his size. This would also allow Mossop to have a good run in the team and IMO is a better option than sticking Bailey in there.
What's the rumpus, Tom?

He just seems to have alot of brain farts like the 2 in the play offs against Cas and then Saints where he tried to take the last defender on the outside with about 3 inches worth of pitch to play in.
On the positive side of you saying Mossop was better then Tomkins late on in the year i'd like to think thats because he did so well. He is a huge lad and just gets through big metres and plenty of tackling. The league game away at Knowsley Rd was his best preformence imo and really got everyones mouth watering as to how good he could be.
I think a lot of people were gutted when Joel was left out of the CC semi final. Could he of been the difference? We got battered with size.
Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good - sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league - Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate - the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever - Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go - Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know - FIOS

I don't think even with Joel playing we would of won that semi-final. Wire just had far more desire, enthusiasm and ultimately skill for us that day.
So IMO having Joel, although would of been a boost, wouldn't of made the difference between winning and losing.

I hope that's right!

Agreed
I had to laugh a few weeks ago - I was at the new Liverpool shopping centre (Liverpool One) and noticed the name and address of the new Everton shop in that centre:
Everton Two
Liverpool One
Didn't happen yesterday though

Heard about that when it opened.
Latics shop just looks like a tacky crimbo shop imo. Was not best pleased.
