Big shame we couldn't persuade Steve Price to come over, would be just what our pack needed. He had a really good game this morning and scored a double! Even taking a bomb that Pat would have been proud of
Dave Taylor had a great game too, he's already been snapped up for next year though hasn't he?
Lockyer was also very good and it would be worth spending the load of cash that he would want. He would be a great investment, give it a try IL!
Interesting read on BBC Sport, A certain Mr Briscoe sounds like he wouldn't mind a return

At least some people on here would get their wish of a full 'wigan' team.
I can just about understand them going for Johnson if he's on peanuts but not Newton.
Johnson is a guy that could cover second row and left centre/Wing and would be handy to have if he could stay fit(big if). We've lost Hock and would look to be letting go Bailey so Johnson looks a like for like replacment for Bailey.
Aslong as Mossop/Farrell/Flanagan are getting the place left by Hock i'd be happy enough to see Johnson back on board.
We don't need Newton even if Riddell is leaving(which i doubt). McIlorum has come on leaps and bounds this season and Leuluai is a natural 9.
If we do get newton we obviously won't be signing a halfback.

They offered him a contract to make him the highest paid player in Salfords history. Your telling me that wont be six figures?

Well I thought Salford were one of the teams not paying anywhere near the full cap so I am not sure.
Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good - sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league - Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate - the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever - Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go - Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know - FIOS

If true and he does leave it must be down to one of two things, who ever signs him is going to give him more money, or he's leaving for a lesser wage but an increased chance of winning trophies.
Wigan vs Leeds finals aggregate score.

Wigan wins - 6 Leeds wins - 0
