and yes, he was player of the year before that which was fully deserved

2006 was not a great year for players before Nobby came in. I am not sure Nobby really rated Danny either as he never got near the GB team while he was in charge of it, even though I would say (and so did Stevo) that his performances in 2005 merited it.

Definitely a player I would have back in a shot.

You're probably right in that I'm remembering his last season too much, it wasn't half terrible though!

He's also got Shane Millard in which is also laughable.

Stuart Jones is also a quality professional - i think its harsh to have him in that list.

Quite interesting that 3 of that team actually beat you less than 2 weeks ago!

Can't believe how many sides have omitted Brady Malam. The lad couldn't break wind. I remember at Knowsley Road when he caught the kick off and had a run up at Mickey Higham, only to be dumped on his ass BEHIND the try line.

Was Botham that bad for you lot? I really rated him at Leeds..

Also Tony Smith was a very good players. Numerous GB call ups whilst at Wigan. People chosing Kevin Brown, Dave Hodgson & Bob Beswick also suprises me.

1. Leeds
2. Warrington
3. St Helens
