I'll tell you now there's somebody on the other Wigan forum, who's absolutely certain Myler signed for saints 12 months ago, so who knows where he's going? He's not really been linked with Wigan so by default we may sneak under the radar and get him, and if not I'm sure Lenegan has some over rated, criminal Aussie for us.
Wigan vs Leeds finals aggregate score.
Wigan 178 - 64 Leeds
Wigan wins - 6 Leeds wins - 0
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum.

I want Myler, but a part of me thinks he may be a bit of a numpty and little coky and money grabbing. He's still very young and already being hailed as the next big thing, along with Sam. But we know that youngster should be protected to some extent as not to allow them to think that they have made it in the big time and stop trying and lose enthusiasm.

I'm pretty confident Wire has signed him. I can't see IL paying a youngster a 6 figure salary. However, with a new coach and a chemistry between Tomkins and Myler would have been exciting for the future.

Part of me thinks the first reason for him leaving is to play for a bigger club, in front of large crowds with a better chance of winning something. As for the money issue if for example only wire are bidding for him and Salford except the transfer bid and give wire permission to negotiate personal terms with him, they'll be only wire negotiating so his salary may not increase, but if for example Wigan are also bidding for him then this is the opertunity for his salary to rise through competition of the two clubs.
As for Myler him self, the only comments I've heard are from Offiah and I hope the final decision of where Myler goes comes from Myler him self, not from the heavy influence of Offiah.

Aye, like i said its just a bit of a random feeling i get about him. Could easily be because he's not linking to Wigan lol.

I've heard saints are interested, but initially laughed it off as we have eastmond etc. but it is not out of the question for us to have Myler instead of eastmond on some form a swap deal. I'd obviously prefer to see our academy lads coming through, but it is a posibility.
