Parker and "reliable contact" shouldn't be said in the same year, never mind the same sentence.
I wouldn't be surprised if NRL clubs were showing an interest in Williams. He needs to be careful only to go when he is ready, if he goes too soon he will end up like Burgess.

As in, back at Wigan in two years, having had a year's experience playing in the NRL, living in Australia and getting paid more than he would in SL? Joe Burgess is hardly a cautionary tale against young players trying their hand in the NRL just because he hasn't stayed there. Quite the opposite IMO, it shows they can always come back if it doesn't work out, so they don't really have anything to lose.

+ 1
I've never read another RL pundit who gives me so much of an impression that he literally makes stuff up.
Either that or he makes a raft of phone-calls each morning, and everyone he contacts has a quiet giggle and then tells him the most unlikely story they can think of.

I'll never begrudge anyone wanting to try to better themselves and a wedge of wonga is always nice, but let's see what sort of player he's returning as before we start laying gold-plated rose petals at his feet (yes, I'm in curmudgeon mode. Bah, humbug).

Burgess contract wasnt as good as first thought by him when he finally got there, People need to realise how good he was for Souths, if he hadnt have resigned for Wigan as early as he did he would not be here now he would be a bunny.

I agree with this. Joe was a bit previous signing back with us. If he plays well this year I reckon he'll be off again, probably with George...and so on we go...

I was told about 4 weeks ago that a deal to join Wire was close to completion for 2018 but Souths came in and blew it out of the water during the Four Nations and he is moving Down Under after next year.
The same story went that Wigan couldn't come close to either offer.
