As did Sarginson. Absolutely incredible bringing the ball out and always made himself available. 31 carries and 276 meters in a Grand Final is outstanding. Unlucky not to get MoM considering he set up the winning try as well.
He could do with a bit more finesse but we will miss Sarge next year. His work rate, the yards and the pressure he takes off the forwards is invaluable.

Prepare for the Virtual Terrace self combusting if he gets picked at fb for England.
Probably somewhere near the furore when Williams gets the No6 shirt
Maty Smith getting the 7 (unlikely I admit) would just be too much for some of the regulars over there.
Rocky Hampshire signing for Leigh. Real disappointing one that as the lad is supremely talented.
It's a good move for him though
"Games as big as a grand finals define individuals and clubs. Remember we are only renting these shirts, I had my time in Pat Richards shirt. Ellery and Faz had there time in Sean's, Hampo and Radders in Sam's. You have to make a mark in these shirts that's still there the day you hand it over to someone else. So be aware for 80 minutes you are not only playing but also writing history and creating a legacy. How many people get to actually write history, not many. A big stage demands big players, be inspired. You play for Wigan, now go do it. Good luck." - Martin Offiah, 2010.

The likes of Gildart or Tierney should consider taking goal kicking practice as a way of nailing a place in the starting 13 - just as Frano Botica and Pat Richards did.

Quite disappointed to hear this.
Rocky must be the most badly advised kid currently playing the game.
If he'd stuck around a bit longer, instead of listening to fantasists who reckoned the only thing keeping him out of the England no. 6 shirt was Shaun Wane, he'd have got a shot at playing in the Wigan halves most of the season while George Williams was injured. If he'd impressed in that role, he might even have figured in the Grand Final.
Instead, he warms the bench at Castleford all season, and now has signed for Leigh (apparently). Great career trajectory.

The other thing is, will he even get a game for Leigh? Can't see him getting in the halves unless there's an injury. He won't be fullback ahead of McNally/Smith. And Leigh are well covered on the wings. I just can't see him getting a game there either.

I know.
Wigan are currently short on backs, and likely to remain so for quite a while. What a time for him to jump ship.
I keep thinking about previous exciting kids who were really 'badly done-to' at Wigan because they weren't getting picked all the time; the likes of Nicky Stanton, Shaun Ainscough.
And where are they now?
We didn't see Jake Shorrocks getting uppity and making demands. He just knuckled down, got on with it and took his chances. That's the way you make a career for yourself.

Somebody mentioned that on Facebook last week. I hope there's some truth to that. I'd take him over Escare I think. He's kicked a few goals this year as well so that could be useful.
