Flower, FPN, Clubb and Tautai are a great set of first choice props and having Sutton, Bretherton and Navarette in reserve is hardly a bad situation. But I do think its a shame if Crosby leaves as I think another club will end up reaping the benefits of the hard work we've done with him. I don't think too many will lose sleep over Mossop moving to Leigh.
Tony clubb @TonyClubb I will play again no retirement

aboveusonlypie... If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.

Cheers
That is great news!
Made up for him as that was a worrying injury.
Our pack looks very menacing moving into next year. Just hope we can keep them all fit.

Tony Clubb getting the all clear is brilliant news & confirms to me that Crosby probably is on his way to Wire. Like Jack Hughes, I imagine he wants guaranteed first team rugby & at Wigan he isn't going to get that. I don't think Warrington have the same strength in depth in the pack that we do & so it will be less about Wigan wanting to get rid, but more Crosby looking to secure his future. Good luck to him.
Our pack with FPN, Flower, Clubb and Tautai is monsterous. That is 4 big units. Sutton, Bretherton and Navarette in reserve too. That is a healthy pack for next season.
I can't say I will lose any sleep over Lee Mossop. He has had a torrid time with shoulder injuries & it is right we move on. I wish him all the best at Leigh.
How does Joel Tomkins come back into the side next season? I think Bateman/Farrell definitely start & Lockers has proven that if he is fit he must play. Willie Isa has been solid for us, but I would imagine Joel will start on the bench ahead of him.
McIlorum and Powell share the hooking duties. I wonder if we will sign Dwyer from Wire?
The question marks aren't really in the forwards for me - it is the backs.
Sam Tomkins will he be fit? Morgan Escare to cover? How do we cover for Manfredi next year? When is he back? I can't say Lewis Tierney fills me with much confidence. Warrington clearly targetted him all game (yet ironically had more success with Charnley). How do we replace Sarginson? Can Gildart do a full season at centre? Especially without Dom Manfredi alongside him?
Matty Smith I presume has moved on. Leuluai and Williams in the halves. Who will kick next season?
Does Ryan Hampshire get moved on or brought back into the side?

i was thinking that myself. Rocky is the perfect fit to fight with LT for the Manfredi spot and could also cover Sam. If he doesnt want to come back and fight for a place, then he doesnt deserve to come back.
However we would still be short of a centre, so I would imagine the Club will announce 1 permanent new back as a replacement for Sarge.
I'm sure we are also looking at Gabe Fell to see if another year has bulked him out enough to be ready for SL.
Ah, good taste!
What a dreadful thing!
Taste is the enemy of creativeness.
Crosby leaving is a real worry on last nights showing, especially when you consider that it's meant to be to one of our closest rivals. The issue he's always had is that he doesn't do that enough but that comes with age and experience.
Great news about Clubb and that offsets it a little but I'd rather have them both.

I would be disappointed to lose Crosby but at the end of the day he isn't a player that is essential to our success. Losing him to our close rivals would also be a a bit if a blow, but if it were to be a catolist for Dwyer to come to us I would be more than happy.
Unofficially the most boring poster on Cherry and White.
Just re-watched the game back and Crosby had a great game.
As did Sarginson. Absolutely incredible bringing the ball out and always made himself available. 31 carries and 276 meters in a Grand Final is outstanding. Unlucky not to get MoM considering he set up the winning try as well.
