yes the club also used to own the cricket ground,now YCC,or the england the test and county cricket board will pay them for the use of it as a car park if they still do of course

Maybe if mr Lenaghan was on hand to take over before the move from CP Wigan rlfc would not have had to move out and the old stadium would have been in the process of an upgrade just like Headingley is now.
Leeds rlfc owes a lot to messrs Caddick and Hetherington,they took on the debt ,but they also got a prime assett in a prime location which saved the day.
Also as regards using the rugby pitch as a car park for test matches,its no different than football clubs using their pitches for rock concerts.

Leeds could have signed Ellery when he was a junior,but they did'nt for reasons which we wont go into. Thankfully Leeds are a different club now and the best run club in Super League
