Nobody could ever be blamed for signing Fielden because at the time we were signing the best prop in the world.

Not one Wigan fan would have turned the guy down.

Fielden is still the best performing prop at Wigan - by a long margin.

Anyone who says he isn't playing well or has been one of our better performers this season has a pre-conceived idea about him or are swayed by a percieved 'value for money' notion.

Eamon is shaping up very well and is displaying the potential to be a very good player for a number of years at wigan.
