How's about this for the Wigan team we'll never get to see.

1. S Briscoe
2. Ainscough
3. Goulding
4. Aspinwall
5. Ashton
6. Tomkins
7. Robinson
8. Farrell
9. Newton
10. Prescott
11.Wild
12. Tomkins
13. O'Loughlin

14. Higham
15. Hock
16. Mossop
17. O'Carroll

OK, I know they're not all world beaters but they would surely play with a passion and pride that you Wigan supporters aren't seeing at the moment.

he was quite possibly outstanding.
im so glad i got 28 on my cheek at beginning of match.
he even played with an injured ankle. shows he's no puff.
well done anyways i knew he could do it.
i had no doubts. (:

+ did anyone notice that the scoreboard stayed as wigan v wakefield for half of the match :? ?

Reminded me of Brian Carney alot in terms of the way he plays the game. Alot of power and acceleration. A must stay in the team now.

He will be dropped next week.

You can just see it can't you.

Superb debut from Shaun, he was at the heart of so many things that we did well. His breaking the line and intelligent ball play was fantastic to watch.

He was excellent tonight, he came inside looking for work all the time, has crafty footwork, and good pace, and linked up with the play well quite a few times. He has confidence too and backed himself on the outside... all that whilst limping throughout the whole of the second half! He looks like a similar player to Brett Dallas.

like i said pre match i feared him much more than the tried and tested phelps etc.
a couple more local lads with his drive you would of beat us tonight.
reading on here its fairly obvious where the troubles lay at your club but how long before the powers that be see it.

He was the highlight of a very grim game. His enthusiasm was refreshing compared to some of the more senior players who seem to come across as if they couldn't give a stuff.

If he's not the first name on the team sheet next week then Noble wants shooting. He did enough tonight to justify a place in the team for next week.

Been saying since i first saw him he has Robinsons agility and Carney's power, the lad is going to be a superstar. He has the personality, that some may not like off the field, to make it as well, something other players with potential have lacked.

Unofficially the most boring poster on Cherry and White.

Very very impressed with him. No doubt Phelps will take his spot away next week.
