It just goes to show that Noble and Lenegan aren't sat in the JJB picking their arsess thinking of which crap player to but next.

Why has he recently extended his contract at Toulon if he hates it so much?

The transfer will be blocked under the live cap ruling by the RFL.
We can't release Goulding or Mathers unless they agree to it. So I fail to understand the IL bashing on here.
Same applies to Lynch or Lockyer or anyone else you want for this season. Unless they will play for 30K you can forget it.
It's one of the most disheartening aspects of this message board, actually. And given that, for the first time, we have a chairman who, by his own admission, reads and takes note of internet forums, I think it's a risky game to play. Someone the other day was calling for him to walk ... on the off-chance he might be planning to release Goulding. So if he walks, which he's perfectly capable of doing because know-alls who actually know very little are constantly berating him on public forums like this, what happens to the club after he's gone? I'd expect to be listening to a big empty silence for at least half an hour before I heard an answer to that one.
Others are slagging him off for not spending money - when their attention is drawn to the salary cap, they don't bother replying. People are now saying, yet again, that he and Noble don't get on. Yet earlier we had someone claiming that he's such a mate of Noble's that he'd never consider replacing him (and all spoken with great authority and lashings of venom). Today we have the same people going mad on this message board and others, because we might - MIGHT - be replacing Goulding with a current GB centre. Yet the same people in the past have gone mad because we haven't signed players who've got any quality.
It's bewildering and frankly bloody annoying. I can only hope IL understands that, at times, this message board is nothing more than a sounding-off shop for a relatively small number of Wigan-mad empty vessels (and I include myself in that, for what it's worth).
Yeah, the source who told me of Gleeson has been right every time, the two who told me about Sonny Bill have been wrong 50% of the time, not to say we aren't speaking to him but he has a criminal record in Australia for drink driving, he got no chance of getting a visa so its probably bollarks. Wish it was true though.
With the Gleeson rumour I still think its on, its only been two/three days, give it time, there are ways around the 20k we ot left,
Phelps out on loan/permanent to Salford (Saving 20k?)
Mathers out on loan to Widnes (Saving 20k)
Easy peasy, its just the transfer fee to be arranged if players aren't wanted by Warrington only cold hard cash but I don't see that as Simon Moran is minted.
2008 - 60k
2009 - 120k
2010 - 120k
with mutual option for fourth year, sum to be agreed nearer time.
Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid. Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal. Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.

I am sure he knows that or we would have had 10 new coaches by now and a complete new team he is not daft and i am sure he understands the fans frustrations at times
