Can't agree with you regarding seeing some excellent rugby last season, I just think we have differing views on what is good rugby.
Hey I admit some of the rugby league on show was dull to watch, Brian Noble has admitted this at the fans forum, so I'd be a fool to argue otherwise. Although in some of those dull matches we won.
Sun 16 Mar Huddersfield Giants Away Won 20-19
Fri 28 Mar Wakefield Trinity Wildcats Home Won 08-04
Mon 24 Mar Hull Kingston Rovers Home Won 18-12
However the point I was making is that we have also witnessed some brilliant matches:
Sat 5 Apr Leeds Rhinos Away Won 14-10
Fri 16 May Warrington Wolves Home Won 38-14
Sat 31 May Challenge Cup QF: Leeds Away Lost 16-23
Fri 4 July Leeds Rhinos Home Won 23-22
Fri 1 Aug Hull FC Home Won 66-06
Fri 5 Sept St Helens Away Draw 16-16
Sat 20 Sept Play Off Eliminator: Catalans Away Won 50-26
Fri 12 Sept Play Off Eliminator: Bradford Home Won 30-14
I would regard those games as entertaining, wouldn't you? If not then yes you are correct. Our perception on good rugby is very different.
Rugby Union: When entertainment just isn't your thing.

We did see some great rugby, but just not enough of it, Wigan fans want good entertaining rugby each week. All I care about is the team winning even if we have to win ugly sometimes.
Even back in the day watching some matches, Wigan were often very boring forst half in some games especially, but people forget about these games due to the amount of trophies won. Sports fans soon forget things, Im sure had we won something last season most fans wouldnt care about how we won and the style of play.

Close games some of them which made them exciting. Play off games get you going as you're looking at the final.
We played some good rugby at times, I woldn't say great rugby. For the most part we were dull and looked clueless.

We're relying on kids who are being forced through because of poor recruitment, and not their individual talent.
We can expect a more entertaining brand of rugby, what's Noble done? Brought in a real coach to explain dummy runners and a deep line?
Sorry, all this crap doesn't inspire me in any way.
And on the first day of summer, do you sit there thinking: "Oh crap! It's only three months and then it's autumn again!"

Perhaps you should go to one of these forums and make your objections in person. It's almost impossible for those who attended to describe everything that was said on a message board.
Fully Agree, however I do think it would have been a good idea if the club had filmed it and made it available either online (streaming) or on dvd for a small charge.
