No training for Wigan Wheelchair Rugby League Club today due to the "disgusting state of the sports hall"!
Can't say I'm surpised. I went on Friday afternoon and first think i smelled was sick. Think that floor would have taken a few spilled beers over the last few days.

its a SPORTS facility for wigan council tax payers, not a place where anyone from anywhere can come and have a booze up.......thats what PUBS are for. IMO it should never be held there again.......i'll complain as well mate.
The Beer festival was a charitable event, and they would have paid to hire the room.

No it isn't. There's Ashton Baths, Howe Bridge, Leigh sports village and Tyldsley. Although I do agree with you on that point. The baths that are open just aren't of a good quality or good size, and I include the one at the sports village in that.

pt 1. wouldnt the wheelchair rugby have paid to hire the room? as i said, its a SPORTS facility. If they want to use it for charitable events, then do it via SPORT........that way it wont get messed up for the next people in there.
pt 2. i live in higher ince...my girls (15 and 11) go on the bus. Its hardly fair to expect em to travel to the other ones you've mentioned.
btw...this isnt the first time.

Do you have to have a moan/whinge about everything?
The festival is held every year and it raises good money in the process. Robin Park should have had the organization to clear the place up in time, or just NOT take bookings for the Sunday morning.
