One thing I will be looking at with interest in this game is how heavily involved Richards becomes in the long kicking game. It was the right move by Wigan to take advantage of him being in the fullback position and utilising his kicking skills in open play.



Although there wasn't much finesse or accuracy in Richards' open play kicks against Bradford, at least he got some distance on the thing- something that our halfbacks have struggled with. I hope we continue to utilise him for this, certainly when we're stuck deep in our own half.



Improvements in the kicking game and also far better discipline have been key reasons behind our improvement.

Then again playing their reserves could work in their favour. It did with us.



Lets hope we don't get complacent.

Sam Tomkins long kicking game was very good v Bradford - most of them bounced on the ground split between the winger and FB, giving our defence a few extra seconds to chase.

Then again, Mathers shouldnt be playing.

Thanks. Given that Bluey will want to start Webb on the bench (probably) we need to get stuck into those inexperienced backs!!

Saying that though, I wouldn't be suprised if Webb started and Smith played on the wing, Hall got belted by Mozza last week, although he played on Bluey may not risk him. Also Ablet could play in the centre, but I owuldn't be happy with that.

Don't worry we'll have 1 as slow as him.

Although Senior is a quality player assuming they do not go with Ablett in the centre to replace him and potentiall run with Gibson and Smith that becomes a very pacey backline, and you know my thought on that by now, unless we get in there faces we could be in trouble.

I think we stand half a chance of winning aswell tbh. We go there with little pressure on us to get a result and have a team that can score points.



We need to try and get the ball out to our second rowers and three quaters as much as possible because the likes of J Tomkins, Hock, Carmont and Roberts could cause them big problems.
