If Wire could beat us to the signature of Moi Moi after the players they've already signed then something abit dodgy is obvioulsy going on but like i've said before I have no problem with that. If they have the cash why shouldn't they be able to aim high and spend it.
We just don't look prepared to get in any sort of bidding war for players but when your after the best(which is what Lenagan said we're after) theres always going to be interest from a few clubs.
What gets me tho is everyone can see whats going on but dont question it..i'm of the same opinion as you well done to wire for doing it..but if it was wigan there would be uproar and questions being asked.

It has happened at a number of clubs, ourselves included. Where was it that Steve Renouf's wife 'worked'?

I can totally understand us keeping Coley but Bailey i'm not too sure on.
Bailey out with Moi Moi in would leave us looking strong next year imo.
I disagree, to sign a prop it would make more sense to keep Bailey, but we would need his quota spot, so we coudl release them both, bring in a a prop such as MoiMoi and run with the young troop of backrowers we have.
I know players like Sam have signed new deals for good money, but I cant believe it has all gone on juniors, with no guarntee some will make it? Thats why im sure we cant be spending up to the cap.
Perhaps the space is being left in the event that McGuire see's something we are missing and we move for that player (it would clearly be a prop anyway!)

I would be more than happy to be holding the money back so Maguire or whoever is taking over can bring is own in. Maybe he will bring Cronk and Blair with him

I would much rather let the new coach decide who we sign and when we sign them!
Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good - sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league - Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate - the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever - Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go - Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know - FIOS
