That sounds a shame. I've never bought any Warriors kit that I've thought was poor quality, I don't buy every year, mind. And the dressing-gown is the best dressing-gown in the world!
The Hummel gear was really good, what was the reason for not having them anymore?
Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid. Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal. Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.

I know their UK supplier had issues at the end of last year, going into administration. Hull FC have left Hummel as well, so it may be that the company have chosen to withdraw from making Rugby stuff.
Why is there nowhere in the club shop to try the gear on? Even the tiny old shop in the Grand Arcade had a changing room. Been in this morning to return some stuff that had been bought for me (just way too small - quality was fine). Couple of other families in (all buying away shirts btw) and both asked about changing rooms. Can't be that hard to organise can it, particularly with the 'unique' Kappa sizing

The whole merchandising operations needs an overhaul IMO. The club are getting pretty much everything right and fair play to them but that side of things is poor. The quality of the Kappa stuff seems so so but I can let it slide to a degree (although they charge top whack for it). The fact they have hardly any sizes in those items leaves the club losing out on money and that’s poor.
The quality of the stuff the club gets produced itself (t-shirts, polos, hoodies, caps, hats, pj’s etc) is pathetic. They’d be embarrassed to sell it on Shein or Teemu for a couple of quid. I worked for a local rugby team wear company a decade or so ago and the quality of items produced for local amateur teams was far better.
All subjective but definitely not one of my favourite kit years. The home kit in particular gives me a headache with the weird blended design and too much going on in the other two (particularly in amongst all of the many sponsors).
