I really wish we'd gone for Paasi.

Catalans showed how to beat that rush defence early in their match and Hull had a go but their execution was awful.
Takes some doing to get around Saints and as said your execution needs to be spot on but one thing's for sure even though our pack already looks vastly improved on the last couple of years we won't beat them up the middle.
I'd hope a back three of Field, French and Marshall might make them think twice about playing that very narrow rush defence.

It’s why I’d absolutely have French on the wing in games against them. When we do play them and if they defend as they have been doing, I just hope we’re brave enough to just play what’s on. If there is a kick in behind their three quarters inside our own half, then go for it. Don’t be afraid to go wide early and make sure you’re supporting the ball carrier and looking for offloads. We’re going to have to make this Saints side worry about us and try and pull them out of position.

If we go in all macho and hope to take them in a traditional Good Friday smash up, there will only be one winner.

As I think I've said before, with a back three of French, Field and Marshall, who do you kick to?
