He's a class act but so's Tomkins and it got my back up a little when everybody hailed his preformence against Wigan when in escence it was 3 kicks(a drop, a conversion and a bomb) and not much else.

True, to both points. Ainscough is also one of your goodies for the future (attacking wise for the present too, but he's still a ways to go defensively). I think the kicks from Eastmond stole our show because Saints are generally cr@p at kicking. Strangely enough, when Long was off injured, our kicking game suddenly blossomed. Maybe Long should disappear more often so we can get some serious kicking game going and get our revenge on every other club that has kicked us to death to date!
But seriously, Tomkins, Ainscough, Wheeler, Eastmond and a number of other young players in other clubs are showing real promise for the future, which is a good thing. Never know, we may just have an Aussie beating England team in the making!

Agreed mate.
Once the true leader at Saints in Cunningham and Long have retired and Wellens is finally running backwards i see a great battle emerging between the likes of Ainscough and Tomkins vs Eastmond and Wheeler and more youngsters besides.
