i'd be amazed if it hasnt - he is an out of contract scrum half, who is better than what you have got. Most clubs in SL will be talking about him.

I don't think the "he played for Saints so we hate him" thing applies to every Wigan fan. It would only apply to a minority if we actually signed him and he became a good un for us. Both Platt and Connolly became Wigan legends after having respectable careers with Saints, while Andy Greg was reviled as a Widnes and Warrington star, but became one of the most popular players in Wigan when he finally came home.
My concern about Longy would be his age, and maybe - just maybe - the inadvisability of him reuniting with Gleesson. It may also strike the Wigan board that signing a player at 30-odd, when we let him go in his late-teens - might make us look a bit plonkerish, even given that it was a different administration all those years ago.

Don't know if we do or don't? It's just cheap Ale!
As for worshipping cats, I have long worshipped Pussies in many different ways!

No, we prefer 'Les Miserables'.........more upmarket
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery....... I will look to the moment, and miraculously, the future will take care of itself. Radio 5 Live, Sat, April 14th, 2007,...Dave Whelan, "In Wigan, rugby will always be king" 'I was certain, positive, convinced, and yet..........unsure' 'It's only rock 'n' roll, but I like it' Worry will not prevent destiny from unfolding.

The Long one is a tough one.
He won't be coming here whilst Noble is her i wouldn't think but seeing as it's likely he won't be next year you just never know.
He's an experienced head and a leader and for all his faults off the pitch he never gives anything less then 100% on it and is still a fine player.
I'd probably put grudges to one side and take a punt if i were Lenagan.
