I don't remember that, what was it meant to be? I did wonder why there were so many kids, but I thought it was a much better crowd than most of us expected.
And AJ, pink and blue fizzy bottles do not class as 'complaining over anything'
(I realise 500 junior rugby players were there too)
Anyone who went on sun would realise there wasnt 12,300 on!!! Less than 10k IMO and the worst attendance at the JJB for years. The only way Wigan arrived at 12,300 was by counting what appeared to be numerous season ticket holders who didnt turn up, along with counting all the free tickets given away, regardless of whether they turned up.

The east stand was as busy as i've seen it for a while against a team outside of the big clubs like Saints, Leeds, Bradford or Wire.
Probably free tickets but i wouldn't say 12k was too wide of the mark.

View from the west stand, was that the east stand was more full then usual and with the south being slighty down on normal. Therfore 12k was about rite IMO
WIGAN RLFC IS MORE THAN A RUGBY CLUB - IT'S A RELIGION There will always be a Wigan Warriors no matter what the bitter & twisted blues say

I agree, it was just the Man Utd supporting chavs in the South Stand that didnt turn up!!
its ok if your near st cuthberts, but some of us would prefer a 3 hour festival round robin park.
too much to ask?
Cuthberts is not that far from Robin Park. Less than 2 minutes drive or 10 minutes walk. I'm pleased they are supporting a local amateur club. I passed Cuthberts and it looked packed so well done them.
