I presume he was "forced" to adopt the tactics he did too?

I am all for debate, in fact the more the merrier, but posts like that invide ridicule.

Ha ha.

I guess Ainscough got his chance due to his performances in the pre season did he? Or was it cause Richards & Phelps were injured, Mathers was suspended and Pryce isn't right yet? At the start of the season Ainscough was our fifth choice winger! He's twice the player Phelps is but Noble didn't want to play him till he was forced 2!

Sam was again given his chance out of fate not by some great plan of Noble's. Mcilorum was suspended and we needed a substitute hooker/6.

Those are the facts mate and i sorry that your head is so far up Nobles booty you can’t see them.

It’s impossible to have a debate if the other person doesn’t want to even look at the possibility that Noble isn’t actually God’s gift to Wigan RL.

I can't believe some people can't give credit when it's due. Most young players only get there chance through injury or suspension to other players, it's what they do with that chance what matters. Fortunatelybthey took their chances and as bobby said he would he has picked players on form and not reputation.

He clearly was forced to adopt these tactics as if he had continued with his previous tactics he would be closer to being out of a job than he currently is now.

:D

Keep it up! Funniest posts I have heard in ages. Would you like any more rope to hang yourself?

He was "forced" to drop Smith?
He was "forced" to adopt tactics eh?

He didn't "choose" to adopt them?

Who exactly was "forcing" him?

Dont bother mate, these guys are too proud to admit being wrong despite Noble tonight basically sticking 2 fingers up at them. Fair play to Jonh he has sort of and i mean sort of admitted he was wrong by giving Noble credit for tonight expansive gameplan.

Thats all that i will say on the matter as im off out now glad in the knowledge that Noble has proven his doubters wrong and inside they know that all too well hence the need to cling onto the consistancy issue which seems to suddenly become something you can coach into a team :x

Well said pal. Cant fault the team or Nobby after tonight he has done as promised, even the style of rugby which was the main thing in most people minds.

Tonight was the first time for years where we have been properly entertained with the style of rugby for 80mins.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

Good point and that's why some are unhappy with noble. Now can we carry it on ? I hope so..Leeds will be interesting.

The performances of the team and individual players. Quite clearly.

Proof if ever you are clutching at straws given the fact we played expansive rugby at times last season and this.

If you are happy fair play, i am not. If you are unable to criticise errors it seems to me you are too quick to praise.

I love the way the consistency "issue" is brushed under the carpet by the way!
