I do think the upturn of the team and the connection with the community has a lot to do with the extra ticket sales in the semis. Also I went to the Leeds semi 3 years back and that was poorly attended by Wigan. Leeds brought loads and it felt like it lifted them. I do understand people not wanting to pay double the money and will hold out for the GF.

Finals don't tend to have the best atmospheres whether it's rugby, football or whatever. Wembley finals in football always feel a little underwhelming.

You’re not far wrong there but I’ve been to Wembley for club finals & big England games and enjoyed excellent atmospheres.
Apart from “Wigan, Wigan, Wigan” I can’t recall a single song I’ve heard sung at OT for any of the GF’s I’ve been at.

The singing fans are spread out a little more in finals I guess - in contrast to the vast majority of games with unreserved seating/standing.
More than anything I'm hoping to see a better game than last year. I don't want to be selfish as any Wigan win is great but these days I'm just as keen to see high quality rugby (I.e. intensity, skill, drama etc).

What problems to have, eh
Same! Think that was due to hardly any opposition fans being there. Should be great this time tho. Imagine a Bevan French special in front of the Stretford end!!!
