all i really said was 4 times previous he did the same thing and let the panel judge how bad the said tackles were. but reffing a club he is a life long fan of against there biggest rivals he changed protocol.

when what i feel he should have done is what he had done consistantly before.

You can't compare every tackle, they're all different and you have to deal with each one on its own merits (or otherwise). Like you say you didn't see the others so why you've got the hump I don't know?

now now mate im all calm you get me wrong! but i think its you mr chuckles who my look like that with your uncalled for dig at leeds fans

so lets get this thred back on track, imo i dont think ganson goes out of his way to distance himself from his love of saints. imo to say you might get more from ganson if he's the ref when your team are playing saints isnt true for me.

i think its foolish to think a home town ref who is a self confesed fan of his home town club can ref the game without that influance some how playing a part.

its been said to question this issuse is to question the integrity of the man!

i do question the man!!

my point is about some fans thinking ganson will be harsh with saints as he's a fan! i dont think this to be true.

i just used the scruton situation as an example of how he had been doing something consistantly and then changed tack.

i agree with you you should call the tackles how you see them but previously he had just been sticking em on report! i have no doubt they were alll different just by the nature of the game.

i dont really have the hump at all, just dont expect ganson to be consistant. when it was mentioned by someone in the tread you might get a bit more from ganson because he's refing saints i didnt and dont agree. the scruton situation is one i thought long and hard over. why did ganson get a set of balls at hq when previously they had been left at home with his red card

Well seeing as you've already admitted you didn't see any of the others, AND you agreed Scruton deserved a red I'm struggling to see any point you have. Add in the fact you've already agreed every tackle isn't the same and therefore by definition you can't compare the others to Scruton's and I'll just put you down as another Whino who blamed the ref when they lost. :)

yes you do that but you would be wrong! my beef is with ganson and his inconstancy. and my posts are in regard to some fans thinking they might get more out of ganson because he wont want to be seen to be favouring his beloved saints. for me i see his iconsistancy time and time again. the bloke cant help himself i think he courts the lime light and in doing so loses the plot

MM and Ganson do tend to court controversy. Let's hope he hits the headlines this week and infuriates the Stains fans.

I am not biased; I'm not bothered who beats St. Helens.

The RFL have gone mad Ganson should not be put in this position as its a no win for him same for Mr Terry Albert (to give him his English name) in charge of Catalan he again is in a no win situation. I blame the Australians for this with there Tri Nations wingeing about not wanting a NZ ref as they though he was not up to it and getting an Australian Ref.

Best Wigan No7 ever

Why is Alibert in a no win situation?
